Additionally, Astrix has a database of over 100,000 potential candidates, and we add resumes daily to this resource. Our ability to recruit and retain staff, with over 500 deployed currently, has resulted in an average fill rate of 94.6% and average retention rate of 95.4% from 2012 to 2016.
Staff Retention: Retention of successful, skilled employees is a primary Astrix corporate objective. Contract Turnover Transitions: Astrix will successfully execute contract turnover transitions to ensure mission continuity. As the primary contractor for the DHS BioWatch Program, for example, we transitioned and retained 100% of the incumbent 126 staff members. Our transition plans provide a collaborative, disciplined approach based on experience and our understanding of the governmental agency community culture, processes, procedures, and requirements. We focus on no impact transitions where 100% of our staff will be working on contract day one, as reflected in our positive CPARS for the DHS BioWatch Laboratory Staffing Contract.
Security Clearance: Astrix possesses an active Department of Defense Facility Security Clearance and subsequently has the ability to provide individuals with a Secret Clearance. Our Facility Security Officer will coordinate the application, review, approval process for Secret Clearances, as required by the government. Prior to providing a candidate for your consideration, Astrix will determine the eligibility for an individual to receive a Secret Clearance. This approach eliminates the uncertainties of a contractor commencing work prior to achieving cleared status.
