Susan Butler

Leveraging over 40 years of project management and consulting experience in the biopharmaceutical and technology industries, Susan Butler is currently Global Head, Corporate Development and Strategy at Astrix, responsible for establishing strategic services partnerships, targeted acquisitions, and corporate strategy.  Prior to Astrix, Ms. Butler co-founded ResultWorks, a management consulting company, acquired by Astrix in 2021. As a founder and managing partner, Ms. Butler specialized in helping companies with their digital transformation strategies, optimizing technical ecosystems and operationalizing their strategies into successful technology and business optimization initiatives. Ms. Butler also held an executive position at SciQuest where she was Vice President of Global Professional Services leading services delivery for life sciences customers. At IBM Global Services, she ran a national project management practice and the division’s project management office (PMO) supporting 700 project managers across the United States.

Throughout her career Ms. Butler has led complex technical, organizational, process, and change initiatives.   Ms. Butler has extensive experience in Life Sciences R&D domain, digital transformation strategies, organizational change management, business process optimization and portfolio and project management.  She is a creative strategist and visionary with strong business acumen, EQ, design thinking, analytic and critical thinking skills. Ms. Butler is able to translate ambiguous and complex needs into actionable plans and results and uses facilitation and communication across all levels of organizations and multi-disciplinary groups to build alignment and commitment to the operationalization of strategies.
