Position: Warehouse Operator
RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE
Responsible for the loading and unloading of materials within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility. Records flow information of materials and products and ensures the accuracy. Maintains SDS binders for materials in the facility. Provide and/or assist in the training of lower level warehouse operators. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES OVERVIEW
- Follow all procedures and policies
- Develop and write SOPs.
- Shipping of samples, finished products, equipment, documents, etc.
- Receiving of all items shipped to CMIC CMO USA Corporation
- Reviewing detailed paperwork for all materials received into the warehouse
- Record keeping / filing of all shipping & receiving documents, material log books, etc.
- Cleaning of warehouse and documenting cleaning activities
- Operation of reach trucks (license required) and pallet jacks
- Maintain current SDS files for all materials at CMIC CMO USA Corp.
- Develop and provide training to warehouse operators
- Works with all other departments for the shipping, receiving, and storage of items.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- Must have working knowledge of cGMP’s.
- Must have experience in safe reach and fork lift truck operation.
- Must work safely and have knowledge of safe practices.
- Must have training in Hazardous Material handling.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Experience
- High School graduate or equivalent,
- 5+ years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge/Skills
- Basic computer skills with some understanding of MS Word and Excel a plus.
- Good penmanship and attention to detail
- Knowledge of warehouse and inventory control systems.
- Driving a box truck a plus.
- Cognitive Requirements
- Ability to perform basic calculations, read, write, communicate and handle stress produced by time pressure, customer demands, etc.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability climb ladders
- Wear PPE for entering proceeding areas.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Frequent heavy lifting – at least 50lbs.
