Performs Level 2+ support for applications and system in the laboratories. Issues may span network, desktop, and laboratory equipment. Duties include: User account management System administration duties Configuration, queries, and report development Ensures accuracy and completeness of data, provides resolution to issues identified and updates procedures. Ensures and maintains security and appropriate controls. Evaluates policies procedures and standards for quality systems. Proposes and participates in the implementation of enhancements that improve systems and provide enhanced compliance. Performs a wide variety of activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Participate in projects related to implementation and maintenance in the labs.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
2-5 years previous experience in supporting laboratory applications with an increasing scope of responsibility. Previous experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industries preferred. Practical knowledge of supporting laboratory equipment and environments (i.e., HPLCs, GC’s, LIMS, Empower, etc…) Ability to manage technical issues and root cause analysis across various applications and tools. Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. GxP knowledge and experience preferred. Excellent organizational, scheduling, and documentation skills.
