Our client is a leading, global provider of innovative supply chain solutions. They manage all aspects of supply chain from procurement and warehouse management to logistics and on-site customer services. They are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Lead to join their fast growing team in California (Orange County & Los Angeles County)!

This is a direct hire opportunity!

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 30%-60% travel required.

Salary: $100K-$110K

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Engage selected suppliers to improve quality maturity and performance
Coach and challenge suppliers to drive for Zero Defects
Coach the suppliers in problem solving
Develop a culture of compliance in the supplier through focused audit
Provide Quality leadership and expertise at Suppliers. This role must maintain independence reflecting the business responsibilities
Accountable for the rate of change of performance and maturity of the allocated portfolio of suppliers
Develop the suppliers in prevention on a prioritized portfolio
Implementation of a value adding governance of the suppliers’ progress and performance
Setting the highest standards of compliance by driving effective product and process audits
Deploying 3rd party services in the supplier to contain and/or develop the suppliers
Developing high credibility across the suppliers and strong rapport with the suppliers’ management teams

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelors required.
Supplier development experience
Zero defects experience
AS13100 & AS9145 (PPAP) experience
