Leading pharmaceutical company in Durham/Raleigh area is excited to share they are hiring for a Sr. QA Specialist on a 1 year contract opportunity with potential for this role to extend.
As a successful Sr. QA Specialist, you should have a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering and at least 1-3 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. As a Sr. QA Specialist, you will be responsible for environmental monitoring in aseptic environment, collection and processing of water samples, component and product release testing.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay: $25-29/hr.
Qualifications:
Must have working knowledge of regulatory expectations for the manufacture and testing of sterile pharmaceutical products with experience in quality assurance oversight of sterile manufacturing.
Experience with environmental monitoring is TOP skillset.
Water sampling/filtration experience, utility monitoring, and aseptic technique heavily preferred.
SAP and/or GLIMS experience are nice to have skills.
Day is 80% lab/shop floor work/ 20% paperwork, desk
