Seeking a Research Technician for our client – the birthplace for countless breakthroughs and dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine.

This role is responsible for performing immunoassays and hematology, coagulation, and chemistry testing on biospecimens on various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently performs advanced, complex laboratory service procedures on biomedical samples
  • Formulates and performs lab services, analyzes and organizes results, and provides reports to clients
  • Assist in protocol/method development
  • Prepares laboratory reagents, monitors and maintains laboratory inventory and instruments
  • Assists in the research and development of new service assays, and validation and implementation as a routine protocol.
  • Serves as a technical resource throughout organization and professional community

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology or related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 2 yrs relevant laboratory experience
  • Experience running immunoassays preferred.
  • Experience running automated testing (e.g., blood chemistry, hematology assays) preferred.
