Exciting new opportunity with a rapidly beauty & personal care manufacturing company that specializes in natural based products including food & beverages, nutritional products, skin care & cosmetics, and more.

Local to Midlothian, TX as a Contract To Hire opportunity, the QC Document Control Associate is responsible for keeping track of received data and source documentation. These documents will include analytical/micro reports, inspection reports, artwork, and related file information. As a QC Document Control Associate, you will work with other source documents including R&D Formulas, Raw Materials Information, and Product Identification Information. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 1 year experience in Document Control within food, pharma, biotech, or other related industries.

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: $18/hr.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
  • Contacts prepare source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following format displayed on screen.
  • Compares data entered with source documents to detect errors.
  • Make necessary corrections to information entered.
  • Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
  • Transmits information into the database.
  • Files or routes source documents after entry.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
  • Maintains file, art board and approval records, samples of boxes and labels.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or atleast one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1yr+ experience in Document Control, preferably in Food, Pharma, Biotech, or other scientific-related industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of cGMP and cGDP
