QC Document Control Associate provides clerical assistance to the Quality Control Department by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Keeps track of received data and source documents. Source documents are items such as: analytical/micro reports, inspection reports, artwork and related file information. May also work with other source documents such as: R&D formulas, raw materials information, and product identification
information to include part numbers, shelf life, etc.
Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
Contacts prepares of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen.
Compares data entered with source documents to detect errors.
Makes necessary corrections to information entered.
Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
Transmits entered information into database.
Files or routes source documents after entry.
Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
Maintains file, art board and approval records, samples of boxes and labels.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
