QC Chemist for growing Pharmaceutical Manufacturer OPEN TO SEEING NUTRACEUTICAL backgrounds looking to get into Pharma!

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Analyzing and evaluating material and products under stringent quality and time requirements

· Create, review and revised standard operating procedure for internal compliance

· Review of data / audit trail for technical content and regulatory compliance.

· Ensuring analytical equipment is maintained in good working order that includes maintenance, troubleshooting and performing repairs as needed.

· Anticipating additional resources, consumable, and equipment requirements as needed to ensure that work can be completed within the budgeted time.

· Practice good documentation; participate in the execution of protocol, validations, and method transfer.

· Participate in investigations of OOS results and other related studies.

Qualification and Skills:

· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or pharmaceutical science is required. An advanced degree is preferred.

· At least 1 year experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control Lab or R&D environment.

· Must possess strong knowledge of cGMP, safety, and USP methodologies.

· Must have experience with various instruments used in the QC laboratory such as: HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, dissolution apparatus, UV/Vis spectrophotometer, FT-IR, balances, pH meter, Karl Fischer, disintegration apparatus, etc.

· Computer literate in software such as: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
