Astrix Technology is looking to hire a QA/QC Technician for a large client of ours in the greater Chicago area! This is a great company with lots of room for growth oportunity. The QA Technician tests and conducts the analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products, using variety of testing instruments, machines and procedures to test product quality.

Essential Job Functions

Quality Control Testing and Documentation
- Execute quality tests on all products produced
- Make batch corrections under supervision
- Maintain documentation used in the QC lab on a daily basis.
- Audit production lines
- File product lab sheets and raw material COA’s in a timely fashion.
- Data Entry
  - Cook batch report
  - Enter QA results in our ERP system
- Maintain and organize product retention samples
- Conduct Pre-Operation inspection
Quality Lab Maintenance and Calibration
- Inform QA Lead or Manager when equipment needs to be sent out for calibration.
- Inform QA Lead or Manager when supplies need to be reordered. Retrieve in house supplies from warehouse when needed
Food Safety
- Monitor and enforce requirements of SSOP, GMP and HACCP programs. Will identify common and recurrent issues and sources, and then propose solutions to management.
