Our top pharmaceutical client is looking for a Senior Project Analyst to join their team!

The Project Analyst role is responsible for supporting Project and Portfolio execution as the owner and administrator of The Hive Project and Portfolio Management System. The Project Analyst will ensure high quality and timely updates of Project and portfolio data and metrics in order to drive business value (by utilizing, improving and owning the Hive system). This role will also provide important tracking and documentation of decisions and action items from our Portfolio governance forums spanning multiple sites and functions. The Project Analyst will also be responsible for creating and maintaining the project management business processes (through Nimbus) on behalf of the PMO.
Responsibilities:

  • Global system owner and administrator for the Hive Project Management tool. Ensuring there is a robust and stable data model to support the Biologics functions as well as the Biologics manufacturing sites.
  • Leverage the Hive to provide a forum for appropriate escalation, change control and support model across the network.
  • Monitoring and control the program/projects throughout the project lifecycle ensuring our monthly reporting standards are adhered to.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining the PMO business processes within Nimbus, ensuring the team performs appropriate process confirmations throughout an annual cycle.
  • Curating Program reporting, Portfolio governance and PMO metrics in order to drive improvements and business performance.
  • Responsible for Project Financial Tracking and Reporting, ensuring there is accurate flow of cost information between BES & GTO for those projects in the portfolio.
  • Supporting Program/project closedown, utilizing lessons learned techniques and ensuring project teams capture these in the appropriate database and are shared across relevant stakeholders.
  • Accountable for management of the PMO Virtual lean board and the associated PowerApps supporting system flow.
  • Responsible for the management and accuracy of the PMO SharePoint site and Portfolio governance SharePoint sites
  • Where appropriate, leads cross-functional project teams to deliver successful projects (can be drug product or non-drug product specific projects) ensuring project execution, deliverables are achieved and risks are appropriately managed.
  • Supports Director of PMO with Team meetings, offsite F-2-F planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3 years minimum experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharm or GMP industry; must be familiar with pharma or biopharm GMP.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communications skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast pace. Willingness to be flexible and pick up a variety of activities
  • Advanced analytics skills and experience of influencing business decisions through the provision of data insights.
  • Experience in Project Management, Change Management and Communications.
  • Experience of working within a PMO and knowledge of typical programme management documentation.
  • Basic understanding of Lean.
  • Basic understanding of Operations processes & process mapping.
  • Independent proactive worker with high attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and deliver quality work at pace. Takes appropriate initiative and accountability.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Business process design, deployment and change management experience
  • Experience working globally, leading virtual teams in a matrixed environment
  • Project management accreditation or qualification
  • Change management accreditation or qualification
  • Experience of Sharepoint
  • Experience of reporting systems: Qlikview, PowerApps, PowerBI
