Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company focused on oncology and biopharmaceuticals, is searching for a Clinical Production Technician to work at their Gaithersburg, MD site. The ideal candidate will have a background in biotechnology and experience in upstream and downstream processes. This role is 2nd shift (2-11 PM) Monday – Friday, and will need to be flexible to work one day on a weekend if there is a need.

Shift: 2nd (2pm-11pm M-F)
Pay: $22-$24/hr
Location: Gaithersburg, MD

Experience

  • Associates or Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry or related field
  • Familiar with all aspects of manufacturing (upstream and downstream processes)
  • Buffer and Media preparation experience
  • Quick learner and a team player

Job Description

  • Set-up complex equipment, change over, clean and maintain relevant, critical operating equipment to enable the smooth running of the plant/section/unit.
  • Diagnose and take steps to resolve equipment/product quality issues to ensure the continued smooth running of the plant/section/unit.
  • Deliver training, development and mentoring of new starters and existing team members.
