Process Control Engineer I/Automation Technician

Coordinate equipment availability with production to ensure maintenance is completed within required timeframe.

Plan and implement project and maintenance work with minimal supervision

Partner with production to identify windows for project and maintenance work

Locate and diagnoses failures through in-depth data analysis and control system logic review

Solve using advanced electronic equipment, isometric and P&ID drawings, diagrams, historical data trending (OSI PI), programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley), functional specifications, operating and component manuals, and verbal/written instructions

Complete preventive maintenance and corrective work orders for automation equipment

Lead and implement equipment/process improvement projects, handle small-dollar (< $50k) project budgets

Assist completion of manufacturing non-conformance investigations and technical document writing

Estimates labor and equipment costs, prepares purchasing requisitions, and handles electrical contractors regularly.

Implement corrective and preventative actions to improve manufacturing’s operational efficiencies and quality standing

Implementation of modifications to the existing manufacturing equipment that will improve the operational efficiencies.

Assist engineering with the design, installation, and validation of automated control systems for new or upgraded utilities systems, compounding processes, and filling and packaging equipment.

Assist engineering with the execution and execution of Installation and Operational Qualifications, IOQs, and Performance Qualifications, PQs.

Capability to collaborate with the Quality department concerning maintenance and change control documentation.

BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Targeting 1-3 years of experience
