Process Control Engineer III

Our client, an innovative medical device company in Sinking Spring, PA is looking for a Process Control Engineer to join their team for a 9-month contract (with potential of extension and health benefits).

Key activities:

Design, develop and implement PLC based control systems for industrial batch and continuous processes, including the development of P&ID and I&C drawings.
Developing automated process sequences, batch recipes, batch reports, cleaning sequences and reports.
Implementing process control systems in compliance with GMP/GxP requirements.
Developing URS, FRS, FAT, SAT, IOQ, PQ documentation.
Trouble-shooting hardware and software issues related to PLC control systems. InfinityQS ProFicient SPC-MI application and DMS/DCS application services configuration and administration
OPC communication with PLCs, serial communication with equipment, and ability to configure communication interfaces to such equipment within the ProFicient applications.
Working knowledge of serial communication interfaces, windows computer configuration, and SQL databases.

Qualifications:

A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
5+ years of directly related industrial experience in Process Control (preferably in FDA regulated environment)
Controls and automation commissioning experience
Familiarity with network technology such as Profinet, Profinet, Industrial Ethernet.
Familiarity with MES, SCADA, DCS.
Relevant CET, PE, Trade or Industry certification
