Organic/Research Chemist II
Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company in greater Philadelphia area, which specializes in developing and manufacturing of a pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines is seeking a Chemist for their Process Research and Development department in the Rahway, New Jersey research facility.
It is a laboratory-based role to support process development for a 6 month contract with potential of extension and with provided health benefits.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting process development in a research lab
  • Seeking a candidate with experience in organic chemistry, organic synthesis, methodology/catalysis (including chemocatalysis, biocatalysis and heterogeneous catalysis), total synthesis, physical organic chemistry, or flow chemistry

Qualifications:

  •  A PhD in Chemistry with 0–1-year experience OR an MS degree in chemistry with a 5+ years of experience in organic synthesis
  • Preferred: Experience in synthesis, purification and analytical characterization including HPLC, MS, and NMR;
  • Preferred: Experience in DOE design and process characterization
