The growing Research Informatics & Software Engineering department develops and supports production grade informatics solutions that enable collaborative science at scale,
innovative scientific discoveries and data-driven decision making within the Research organization.
Currently seeking a talented, experienced, self-driven and collaborative Program Manager to drive successful realization of complex cross-functional software programs and platforms that create and deliver transformational solutions, enabling cutting edge research and the discovery of ground breaking therapeutics.
Responsibilities

Use deep strategic and tactical project management expertise to drive roadmap elaboration, project planning, decision-making, budget management, communication, coordination and tracking of activities to deliver key milestones.

Influence project stakeholders, researchers, technical leads and delivery teams across disciplines to understand their requirements, keep multiple projects or workstreams on tracks,and identify and resolve critical path activities,

Proactively diagnose, navigate, and collaboratively resolve project disconnects, issues and risks. Working with the team, formulate and implement strategies to prioritize actions and remove roadblocks; hold stakeholders accountable for resolution.

Works proactively to ensure team interactions are effective, collaborate productively with and influence project team, peers and all levels of management.

Develop and implement communication strategies, including authoring complex documents, presentations, dashboards and websites. Develop and host engaging meetings and complex program workshops.

Proactively develop actionable change and adoption strategies integrated in project plans, including a communication plan and sponsor roadmap, to maximize value for our user community.

Proactively develop measurement strategies to ensure programs deliver their intended value; take a broad view of cross-functional activities to raise and leverage inter-dependencies.

As part of the RISE Operations team, you will also build and evolve our best practices and capabilities for portfolio, program, project and change management, in partnership with the portfolio and change
Qualifications

BA/BS/MS/MBA/PhD or equivalent work experience

7+ years managing complex projects or programs for diverse stakeholders, in particular managing cross-functional IT or data initiatives

Experience managing budgets in excess of $0.5M

Demonstrated experience with both waterfall and Agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Smartsheets, JIRA, Trello, Google Suite, data visualization etc.)

Demonstrated ability to synthesize, simplify, and communicate high-volume, complex data into meaningful information for stakeholders and leadership to make actionable decisions

Project management certification preferred (e.g PMI, Prince)
