The Compliance Manager will be a member of the Global Legal team and will help to further develop the compliance program and providing daily management of compliance program programs. You will manage the Ethics & Compliance hotline, and conducting compliance investigations as directed by the Assistant General Counsel. You will also implement specific compliance projects such as compliance policies, SOPs, compliance communication and awareness materials, and training on said compliance policies and the Code of Conduct.

You Will:

  • Work with multiple partners throughout the CSI organization such as Legal, HR, operations, internal audit, QA/RA, and Sales & Marketing to develop and operate a corporate compliance program and function and ensure that appropriate compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place.
  • Design and coordinate anti-bribery compliance training and monitoring activities; develop risk assessments and reviews of compliance risk areas to determine risk exposure; collaborate and consult with partners on an ongoing basis to identify any issues of non-compliance; and report same to the Assistant General Counsel.
  • Maintain and assess important procedures to reduce identified risks and meet government and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Provide and comprehensive compliance training to CSI employees through multiple delivery channels, including in-person, webinar and online.
  • Develop curriculum, training plans, and training completion reports to support the compliance training program.
  • Become familiar with and develop an understanding of relevant laws and regulations in main global markets to ensure that CSI policies comply with such laws and regulations.
  • Help with managing and enforcement of compliance efforts, including risk assessments, compliance reviews and audits.
  • Assist the Assistant General Counsel to embed a culture of ethics and compliance
  • Be a resource and subject matter expert for all compliance-related activities.
  • Assist the Assistant General Counsel on such other projects as assigned from time to time.

You Have:

  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 10 plus years overall experience. seven years with Compliance or QA/RA in medical device, pharmaceutical or life science industry.
  • Knowledge of important laws and regulations improving the medical device, pharmaceutical or life science industry (e.g., AKS, Sunshine Act).
  • Familiarity with AdvaMed and PhRMA codes.
  • Team oriented, you will have skills in influencing and change management.
  • Work evenings and early mornings to accommodate telephone meetings with colleagues in Asia-Pacific and Europe.
  • Willingness to undertake some travel, including international travel, to support compliance responsibilities and plans.
  • Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)).
