Our client designs, manufactures, and sells the most advanced single-use bioreactors for the biopharmaceutical market. They are currently seeking an Engineering Technician in Camarillo, CA.
Title: Engineering Technician Pay: $55,000 – $65,000 Location: Camarillo, CA
Manufacturing Engineering Technician to play an integral role in supporting our current products. The ideal candidate should be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a wide variety of responsibilities related to engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Comply with policies, procedures, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Serve as primary contact for technical support in manufacturing
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as required
Manage the calibration of all equipment
Manage and perform preventative maintenance of all equipment
Provide technical support to Engineering
Optimize manufacturing processes using engineering methods for continuous process improvement and/or redesign/design of equipment, tools, fixtures, etc.
Execute protocols for running experiments and data collection
Analyze and resolve moderately complex issues in support of manufacturing
Sustaining Engineering; upkeep of existing product lines as required
Perform equipment qualification in accordance with company procedures (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of mechanical and electromechanical experience, or directly related experience, including school laboratory work.
