POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking the following individual for our Production/Manufacturing Department who has experience with working in a chemical related area.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Operating a fork / lift truck
  • Filling, lifting, rolling, and labeling drums and pails
  • Batch making
  • Working with Hazardous Chemicals
  • Completing required paperwork for product batches

 

REQUIREMENTS /QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Minimum five years’ material handling/packaging experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environment, chemical related preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe work practices
  • Prior experience preparing chemical batches preferred
  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to effectively interact with supervisor and peers
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
  • Motivated, team oriented, disciplined
  • Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment is a benefit
