CAD Designer
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: 33-38/ hour
Duration of contract: 12- months

Responsibilities:

  • Provide CAD/Admin support for plant and division engineering in support of large manufacturing facilities.
  • Demonstrate ability to complete engineering mark-ups, plant line layouts and update P&IDs that depict processing systems and related utilities (electrical, water, wastewater, etc.).
  • Read and understand construction 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Interact with engineers to translate specifications and requests into drawings.
  • Document drawing changes made by engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance staff.
  • Maintain as-built drawings created by oneself or by vendors.
  • Determine the accuracy of drawings and initiate corrections when discrepancies are found.
  • Support the Validation program affecting multiple facilities, processes, and equipment in support of capital project needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (SharePoint)
  • Experience in product design and drafting environment (civil, architectural, mechanical)
