Associate Project Manager

Position Summary:

The Associate Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Project Management team and various departments within the company to complete tasks and deliverables associated with the contracted commercial work. The Associate Project Manager will work with all clients and other stakeholders to ensure that projects continue to move forward within the company and that exceptional client satisfaction and delivery continue.

 

Essential Functions and Daily Tasks:

  • Understanding project scope including the creation of or supporting the primary Project Manager in compiling and maintaining project timelines and attending internal and client meetings with all key stakeholders.
  • Work with Project Managers to complete monthly client invoices and forecasting exercises while supporting any other project financial exercises that may be requested either by the internal or client team. When needed, help prepare change orders for Project Managers and clients.
  • Be the “Face of the Business” and communicate professionally both externally and internally and represent the organization in a professional manner. Serves in a supporting role or as the central point of contact for all project collaborators and stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Enforces GMP/GLP/ISO/safety regulations and standards.
  • Communicates with clients and collaborators regarding specimen inventory and when applicable kit oversight as well as specimen tracking and processing both internally and externally for shipping and testing needs.
  • Assist clients, collaborators, and senior management in the implementation of new projects and expanded work scopes.
  • Prepares reports and correspondence to clients and collaborators, and department Director as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field
  • 2 years of working experience in a biotechnology, repository, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiar with GLP, GMP, CLIA, and ISO regulatory guidelines
  • At least one or more years of prior project support or supervisory experience
  • Excellent computer and documentation skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently and comprehend the English language
