Looking for a Senior Scientist/Associate Director Pharmacokinetics and Bioanalytical will serve as Study Director for PK/BA studies or Principal Investigator for BA studies. This person will work in a team-based environment to lead the coordination, execution, reporting and timely completion of PK and BA studies. Function as an expert in small molecule assay development using LC-MS/MS and data analysis using WinNonlin.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate protocols and reports for PK/BA and BA only studies
  • Knowledge of Analyst, Excalibur, WinNonlin and Microsoft Office software platforms.
  • Assist in sample analysis using HPLC-MS/MS and other routine equipment.
  • Provide guidance on the preparation and extraction of samples from biological matrices and formulated drug materials.
  • Serve as a liaison with the project management, in-life group, and bioanalytical teams to assure that studies are completed according to timelines
  • Conduct scientific review of PK study data and reports written by other scientist
  • Maintain accurate records in various internal databases.
  • Support internal research projects to optimize service offerings.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • MS or PhD in pharmacokinetics, chemistry, analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical science.
  • Minimum 5-7 years (MS) or 3-5 years (PhD) relevant industry bioanalytical experience focused in LC-MS/MS and other analytical techniques in a pharmaceutical field.
  • Expert in small molecule assay development using LC-MS/MS or HPLC/UPLC. Experienced in sample prep, chromatographic separation technique, and optimization of tandem mass spec conditions is required.
  • Must have experience conducting non-compartmental analysis using WinNonlin
  • Position requires good communication skills and attention to detail.
