1 Year contract
Must be able to interpret complex engineering drawings, knowledge of sampling techniques, utilizing an ERP for data collection, and being able to operate/handle different types of equipment used to make quality decisions. Will complete tier 1 & tier 2 inspections to test inbound material that will be used to assemble complex medical devices.
Tier 1 inspections:
Manual routine inspections utilizing hand tools such as calipers, gauges (ring, pin, thread, height), rulers as well as visual inspections to test inbound material that will be used to assemble complex medical devices. May operate upper level instrumentation.
Tier 2 inspections:
Operate advanced upper level instrumentation: 3D/2D Digital Measuring projector and/or Optical Testing and Visualization Instruments (e.g. Optical Gaging Product (OGP), Keyence IM, etc.) Performs inspection on printed material (e.g. Primary and Secondary labeling; manuals; print inserts; CD’s; etc.).
Education min HS
2-3 experience
Top 5 skills/requirements:
GD&T background (i.e., ASME Y14.5)
Interpret Engineering Drawings
Attentive to detail
Medical Device experience preferred
IPC-610-A background
Sampling background
Preferred Medical device experience
Quality/inspector experience required
Fully onsite 1st shift /flexible candidate that will accommodate a mid-shift if/when the program needs change.
