Quality Assurance Specialist I

Global cutting-edge biotech company is excited to share they are looking to expand their team! The Quality Assurance Specialist will provide entry-level, hands-on support from a regulated systems perspective in a GxP laboratory services and kitting production environment.
Schedule: M-F, 8-5pm
Pay: $20-22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining established company wide GxP quality systems, actively managing assigned activities (including logging and tracking of events and outcomes), and working with end-users on thorough documentation of quality system events in a timely manner
- Maintain operation of archive and assist in storage and retrieval of raw data, documentation, protocols, and final reports
- Archive new materials as they are received following the appropriate cataloging system
- Monitor retention periods of archived materials
- Ensure timely submission of materials into archive and facilitate timely submission of documents from archive based on requests
- Assist in scheduling, performing, and reporting internal audits, as well as supplier audits, and related activities
- Maintain monthly metrics and reporting tools for all aspects of quality systems
- Monitor equipment calibration program to ensure timely and accurate completion of maintenance
- Review and provide documents and records for audit and inspection requests
Experience/Education:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of related experience in a life science, regulated environment
