Senior Research Scientist
Daily duties would be running PDCA cycle of research by his/her own.
Plan experiments, run experiments, check results, and consider next step. No routine-type works.
When above is broken down:
Accurately understand the background and needs for study
Reading articles, have hypothesis, plan study to prove it, find an appropriate method of evaluation and adjust it to own study
Cell culture, tissue culture, any sample collections from human, molecular biological analysis (western blot, qPCR, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence…etc depends on the situation and progress)
Organize data obtained in the study, describe and discuss the results accurately, prepare presentation, prepare report
Etc.
