Clinical Histocompatibility Technologist
Our partner is committed to servicing transplant testing, particularly in high complexity testing laboratories. They are continuing to expand throughout the United States and are looking for a Clinical Technologist (Histocompatibility) to join their team, in their location in LA!
Responsibilities:
- Examine and follow all Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) lab SOPs and protocols.
- Follow procedures for specimen handling and accessioning, analyze tests and reports.
- Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) typing using serology and molecular methods.
- Perform Cytotoxic Crossmatching and Flow Cytometry Crossmatching.
- Complete Antibody Screening, Antibody Specificity Analysis, and Spleen and Lymph Node Isolation.
- Select proper specimen according to procedures, and analyze data to ensure accuracy of results.
- Work cross-functionally, supporting teammates and clients with inquiries.
Pay rate: $34/hr-55/hr.
Qualifications:
- BS or BA in biological, physical or chemical science or clinical laboratory science from an accredited college or university.
- 2-4 years of experience or an active Trainee License issued by California Laboratory Field services in histocompatibility.
